Sustaining Fellows are Fellows who have provided additional financial support to the Academy to further its purposes. The Academy was formed to study, encourage, promote and improve the laws and practice of law pertaining to the adoption of children and the creation of families throughout the United States and abroad.
Honorary or Judicial Fellows are those who have made valuable contributions to adoption law as law school professors, judges, or others who have achieved special recognition for their service in the field of adoption. Honorary and Judicial Fellows do not accept referrals of adoption cases.
